Morgan Drexen Supports the 3rd Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Orange County
Team Morgan Drexen Making Strides One Step At a Time
More than two dozen Morgan Drexen employees woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning thrilled to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa.
Individuals from all parts of Orange County gathered as one, some walking with friends, families and co-workers to end breast cancer forever. A remarkable 11,000 participated in the walk this year, raising more than $210,000.
Morgan Drexen was proud to be acknowledged as a Blue Ribbon Team by exceeding its $1000 goal. The team raised a total of $1510 for the cause.

Morgan Drexen recently participated in the 2nd annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk of Orange County. One of many events across the country sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the walk is first and foremost a celebration of people who have survived breast cancer.
A team of employees, executives, friends and family raised $1200 to help prevent breast cancer, find cures and support programs and services for those battling disease. The Orange County event raised $240,000 total in 2011 and since the inception nearly 7 million walkers have raised over $400 million to help fight cancer nationwide.
“As a local business we feel it is our responsibility to support not only local charitable organizations but also national charities. We all know someone who is affected by cancer in some form or another and research into the disease is crucial,” says Morgan Drexen CEO Walter Ledda.
Morgan Drexen stands with Making Strides to celebrate the 2.5 million Americans who have faced breast cancer and celebrate a world with more birthdays!
